I am fully insured and a member of the International Professional Groomers Association (IPG). I have 3 dogs of my own, Finn (the Ambassador) my precious boy who’s my retired Police Search Dog, Buddy my rescue Bichon & Brian the Jack Russel X Whippet who’s full of beans. At the end of the groom your dog can enjoy a nice play with any of my dogs or just chill on any of the multiple dogs beds in my living room waiting to be collect - a home from home for your precious pups.
FINNese Dog Grooming provides quality PET dog grooming, for SMALL to MEDIUM sized dogs only, in a safe and hygienic bespoke grooming pod. Before any grooming commences I will complete a health check on your dog; checking the body for any unusual lumps or bumps, checking the teeth & gums for plaque or inflammation, and checking the ears for any obvious ear odour or inflammation. All dogs go home with collar bow, coat conditioning spray, spritz of doggy cologne and a themed bandana for the season. All prices are a ‘starting from’ price - as it is dependent on the condition of your dog’s coat & the time taken to complete the groom. PUPPY GROOMING: It is essential for happy grooming that you introduce puppies to the grooming process right after their vaccinations. Puppies at this age learn a lot quicker and are more open and accepting to new experiences than when they are a few months older. I follow every puppy intro groom with a play session to ensure a truly positive experience. I recommend to start with a course of puppy intro grooms (see below for Puppy Package), which includes introduction to sights, sounds & smells of a salon, a bath, gentle blow dry & brush, trimming of hygiene areas, feet/pads & nails and eyes cleared. This is split over 3-4 sessions & I recommended a frequency 2-3 weeks between sessions, until puppies are confident enough for their first full groom. I will build up the process during each session. Along side these intro grooms I recommend to set aside time at home to clean your puppies eyes & feet and brush them a minimum of twice a week but daily or every other day is preferred. Puppy Package in 3 stages. 1st appointment - 30mins to introduce pup to sights, smells & sounds of a salon, includes a sanitary & paw trim if required. 2nd appointment - bath, gentle blow dry, brush, feet, nails & hygiene trimmed & eyes cleared. 3rd appointment - Full Groom/clip for breed if your dog is relaxed enough at this point

I am a qualified dog groomer and have been since 2013. I am also qualified in canine behaviour and canine First Aid. I am fully qualified in the Emmipet Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning procedure after attending a full seminar master class learning the technique, procedure and benefits of ultrasound teeth cleaning. I was previously an experienced Police Search Dog Handler for 8 years with my precious Labrador, Finn, before he retired at the grand age of 8. Finn was the inspiration for my business name hence he is the ambassador. Finn still comes to work with me but now in the capacity of my friend, companion and soulmate at the salon. I am constantly attending seminars to improve & update my skills to ensure your dog has the best experience when coming for a spa day. My job is to ensure the well-being of your dog, not only whilst at my salon, but also when they leave to go home, I am always at the end of the phone for any advice.
